Mend-a-long – The Sustainable(ish) Online Festival 2020 – A Festival of Sustainable Living

The Sustainable(ish) Online Festival 2020 was an online celebration of all things Sustainable(ish) held during May 2020.
The festival was host to 40 talks providing a source of inspiration for anyone wanting to try and live a more sustainable life and reduce their impact on the planet, and it was bloody brilliant to see so much enthusiasm for all things Sustainable(ish) and the wonderful community that came together in a virtual campsite to support each other and take action for the health of the planet.

Watch as Sarah and Eleanor from Fast Fashion Therapy demonstrate darning and an invisible patch on the crotch of a pair of jeans!

In this session they share their lessons and their top tips for anyone else wanting to reduce their use of single use plastic, in an accessible and relatable way.

How to fight food waste – The Sustainable(ish) Online Festival 2020 – A Festival of Sustainable Living

Food waste is a huge, and often over-looked issue, when it comes to the climate crisis.
If food waste were a country it would be the third biggest emitter of global greenhouse gases after the USA and China.
Add to that the fact that 50% of food waste occurs in the home, and it's easy to see just how much potential we have as families to really make a difference.

Join us for this panel discussion sharing tips, ideas and inspiration for reducing food waste.
Panellists:
- Rachel Boyett from Little Veggie Eats
- Ann Storr from Storr Cupboard
- Claire Carter from The Real Meal Deal
