Home schooling sustainability – The Sustainable(ish) Online Festival 2020 – A Festival of Sustainable Living

The Sustainable(ish) Online Festival 2020 was an online celebration of all things Sustainable(ish) held during May 2020.
The festival was host to 40 talks providing a source of inspiration for anyone wanting to try and live a more sustainable life and reduce their impact on the planet, and it was bloody brilliant to see so much enthusiasm for all things Sustainable(ish) and the wonderful community that came together in a virtual campsite to support each other and take action for the health of the planet.

Edd Moore ran a brilliant session on How to Home School Sustainably.
Filmed during the corona virus pandemic, this was aimed at helping parents to incorporate a little bit of sustainability into their home schooling, or a little bit of home schooling into their sustainability!
But it's jam-packed with fabulous ideas and resources for engaging with our kids around sustainability at any time.

Edd is a teacher and Eco Coordinator at Damers First School, Dorchester, Dorset.
Edd has built up the eco work at Damers over the last 8 years from a blank canvas. Under his leadership, Damers First School has won Eco Schools Primary Eco School of the Year, Surfers Against Sewage Plastic Free Schools Champion and Jane Goodall Roots and Shoots Best Group in 2019.
