JUST £6  A MONTH OR £60 FOR THE WHOLE YEAR!!

Doors are opening again at the end of August, for September.

The climate crisis is here.
It's overwhelming. It's scary AF.
And it's very easy to feel powerless to do anything about it.

It can easily feel like it's too big for us to make any difference.
And the very thought of even trying to change some things up a bit, to be a bit 'greener', is pretty exhausting to be honest.
And anyway, maybe you're not really all that into yoghurt weaving....

I hear you. I see you.
I know you're knackered. I know you've got a bajillion things on your plate. I know you're paddling frantically under the water just to stay afloat.
And I know that you'd do anything to keep your kids safe.

But while we're doing what we can to keep our kids safe, and happy right now, we're potentially screwing up their chances to be safe and happy as grown ups. I'm not trying to guilt trip anyone here, this is sadly, terrifyingly, heart-breakingly, the reality.

The good news is we CAN make a difference.
Even as just one very tired person, as one family.
Even with all the other life stuff we've got going on.
And it doesn't have to be dull, and worthy, and hair-shirty (new word).

THIS IS FOR YOU IF...
  • You're overwhelmed and quietly shitting yourself about the state of the planet we're leaving for our kids
  • You're 'eco-curious' - you feel like you should be doing something to fight the climate crisis, but you're just not sure where to start or what (if anything) will actually make a difference
  • You feel like you're the only one worrying about this - no one else in your family or friendship group really seems that bothered and they think you're a bit weird going on about it
  • You want a safe place to be imperfectly green
  • You'd love a bit of structure, some gentle accountability and the resources you need on tap to help you move from good intentions to imperfect action
THIS ISN'T FOR YOU IF...
  • You love telling people how much greener you are than they are
  • You're practically perfect in every way when it comes to eco action and you expect the same from everyone else
  • You've mastered knitting with lentils
  • You object to a bit of potty mouth humour, and the odd F-bomb
  • You like to bash people over the head with your big green bashy stick if they're not being perfectly green
  • You enjoy nothing more than a bit of eco one up (wo)manship and proving yourself the greenest of green by slapping down other people's attempts to get started

Hold on just a minute, what am I actually paying for...?

  • Awesome question - so pleased you asked. And this might not be the answer you're expecting.
I can list out all the things you'll get when you join (see above) - monthly action themes, check-lists, resources, group calls etc etc.
BUT what you're actually getting is the space.  Which is a slightly wanky thing to say, and something that it's really hard to articulate the value of.
A fun space. A safe space. A space where you don't feel like you're going to get bashed over the head with the big green bashy stick for not being perfect. A sense of belonging, a sense of connection with others. Your very own tribe of cheerleaders who know just how bloody hard it is to keep all the plates spinning and keep everyone happy, at the same time as work out WTF you can actually put in your effing recycling bin.

You'll get a shit ton of other stuff too*, but actually, in my experience, it's that space, that community, that sense of belonging, where the magic happens.

*There may even be badges (jumps up and down with excitement, then wishes I hadn't as a little bit of wee escapes...)

FAQs

1. Is there actually a clubhouse?

No. It's all online.
But I'll be doing my very best to make it feel like your favourite place to come and hang out.

2. Why do you keep banging on about a clubhouse if there is no clubhouse?

In my head it's an amusing analogy, and who among us wouldn't love an actual Clubhouse to hang out in and connect with like-minded overwhelmed types?

3. What if I don't like it?

No problem. No hard feelings. If you decide within the first month of joining that it's really not the place for you, just let me know and I'll give you a full refund.

4. I've got more questions

Awesome. Drop me an e-mail on jen@sustainableish.co.uk
